To our visitors who did not receive the following in their email:

A few questions we would like for you to consider and perhaps share your thoughts and ideas on:

Are you tired of rehashing the same old religious stuff over and over again and never coming to a definitive conclusion? Would you like to move past that swamp?

Do you have an insight into the word and/or Spirit of God that seems to be frequently overlooked or even discounted?

Do you have a “minority” view that needs to be shared and tested objectively against the word of God, rather than against a church tradition (religious dogma)?

Are you fed up with right/wrong games, such as my doctrine (church) is better than your doctrine (church)?

Are you looking for teaching that goes “behind the veil” and explores the deeper things of God? Knowing that what we might discover will continue to be incomplete and in need of further study? The adventure of discovery!

How do you handle what you perceive as errors made by religious leaders and teachers? What do you recommend?

What is the difference between spiritual milk and meat? And, how does one determine between the doctrines of men and the doctrines of God? After you do, then what?

What about sharing the more practical aspects of Christian living? What about the balance between the heart (emotions) and the mind (rational thinking) in our relationship with God, especially when everything in our universe is going broke – or even when everything could not be more perfect for us

What should be the purpose and function of a church (synagogue, assembly, meeting, etc.) and its leadership, in order that your spiritual needs can be met and satisfied? What would your ideal church look/be like? What would your role in such a church be?

These are just some of the issues we are opening up for investigation and discussion.

While we get our share of visitors every day, we generally get applications for membership from "spammers". If you know anyone who might like to contribute to such a forum as this, please invite them to join in with us. Real names would be appreciated.

We are also in the process of making some changes in the forum to enhance its functionality, such as checking out some broken links that have been included over the past few months, and reevaluating the appropriateness of some of the other links, boards and internal forums. Comments and suggestions are most welcome.

On a personal note:

Remember, that while we encourage everyone to look at the Christian religion through the eyes of Jesus, the Apostles and the early disciples, i.e., from a Hebraic world view, we are NOT a Jewish community. We are mostly a collection of Gentile followers of the Jewish Messiah who has graciously called us into fellowship with His originally identified people. Even in the sharing of the gospel, it is “to the Jew first, and also to the Greek [Gentile]”, and those who have a problem with that view point would most likely not find our community very supportive. Evern so -

May our God continue to bless you and look after you.

Shalom Aleichem (Peace be Unto You)
